Creeper Trail Residence
Located adjacent to the popular Virginia Creeper Trail, this landscape revitalization provides a range of outdoor spaces and fuzes hardscape with plantings to create a cohesive garden experience with four-season interest. The formal layout is juxtaposed with natural drifts of seasonal perennials within structured evergreen plantings. A stone fireplace and stone retaining wall act as bookends around a formal kitchen garden that boasts a bluestone fountain at its center. A semi-circular lawn is inscribed beyond the kitchen garden to draw one’s eyes beyond the foreground to the scenic mountain ranges in the background.
